Cheeky Monkeys . 
Yes I know They are Lemurs and not monkeys but the cheeky monkeys im refering to are the tourists who have made up a tradition of rubbing Greyfriars Bobby's nose for good luck! Not something locals have ever done , we prefer to spit on the heart of midlothian ! but perhaps less so since covid i hope. These lemurs have really made themsleves at home protecting out beloved Bobby and a jungle reminicent of the native Madagascar has grown up around them ,including a couple of Baobab trees which look so much like edinburgh's tall chimneys that they look quite at home on Candlemaker row .
