No 11 in the 12 days series this is an odd one . There are a great many medieval wood cuts and carvings that depict pigs playing the bagpipes , no one knows why but the general consensus is that it was a joke refering to the sound of the bagpipes being similar to a squealing pig ... I like the sound of the bag pipes but perhaps better from a distance :-)
